Where Legacy Meets Performance
Mountain View Seeds traces its roots back to 1946, when a group of farmers in Pratum, Oregon came together to grow premium seeds in the Willamette Valley. That collaboration became Pratum Co-op, a respected supplier of fertilizer, crop protection, and petroleum products.
In 1998, Mountain View Seeds was formed to meet growing demand for high-performance turf and forage seed. What began as a farmer-led effort has grown into a globally recognized brand, known for elite genetics, research-driven innovation, and strong industry relationships.
Today, MVS works closely with world-class breeders, universities, and growers to deliver seed that performs, season after season.

At their state-of-the-art facility in Salem, Oregon, Mountain View Seeds combines efficiency with uncompromising quality:
- 3 high-capacity pits and 100 bulk bins
- 9 blending lines moving 700,000+ lbs of seed per day
- 200,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space
- Packaging options from 1–50 lb retail bags to 1,000 lb bulk totes
